You can find restore cds on eBay or you can buy the full OS version at a store.

ok well i got mine from a friend and he didn't have the restore cd so would i be able to go to a store and get one?

If your hinges are loose, just tighten the screws holding the hinges in place. If they are broken, you need to replace the hinges themselves.

You can reset the usernames password in either a full OS CD or the restore cd.
