This series of short films recounts spooky tales from the Aberystwyth area. The films were made specifically for Abertoir Horror Festival 2011.

Absent But Not Forgotten is an ongoing collaborative art project between west Wales artists, Kathryn Campbell Dodd and Jacob Whittaker.
Mae credu yn y goruwchnaturiol yn gallu bod yn bwnc dadleuol; fodd bynnag, mae awydd dynol cryf i ddod o hyd i batrwm ac ystyr yn yr hyn na ellir ei esbonio. Mae Absent But Not Forgotten yn defnyddio arbrofion fideo a sain, tecstilau, dodrefn a gwrthrychau technegol i ddeffro'r byd 'hela bwganod' drwy osodiadau sy'n benodol i'r safle. Mae'r prosiect yn ystyried cysylltiadau, clichés a dylanwadau'r byd teledu a ffilmiau ar y ffenomena.
Mae'r gwaith, sy'n archwilio iaith esthetig hela bwganod, rhaglenni dogfennol ar y goruwchnaturiol a ffilmiau arswyd, yn cwestiynu'r duedd i ddehongli ffenomena rhyfedd neu anesboniadwy fel pethau goruwchnaturiol, ac yn gwneud cymariaethau rhwng natur obsesiynol prosesu data arbrofion goruwchnaturiol a phroses greadigol yr artist.
Belief in the paranormal can be controversial; but there is a strong human desire to find pattern and meaning in the unexplained. Absent But Not Forgotten uses video and sound experiments, textiles, furniture and technical objects to evoke the world of 'ghost hunting' through site-specific installations. The project considers the associations, clichés and influences of TV and films on the phenomenon.
Exploring the aesthetic language of ghost hunting, paranormal documentary and horror film, the work questions the urge towards paranormal interpretations for uncanny or unexplainable phenomena and makes parallels between the obsessive nature of processing the data from paranormal experiments and the artist's creative process.
