I am a teacher of Southeast Asian Martial Arts, and I teach advanced principles and techniques from Pencak Silat, Kali, Pangamot and Wing Chun. Most of the clips are filmed candidly during class, so it's not a rehearsed, professional setting.

This site is not for beginners.

Sir, is there any chance, of you bringing out a DVD about your art?

I learnt a great deal from your channel, but since I live literally on another continent then you do, chances of me ever attending one of your classes are slim to nil.
So if there is ever something like a DVD or downloadable video, that would be great.

With best regards

silk

take care and have a good one

You're a very good teacher Bobbe Edmonds. You demonstrations about Silat were very clear and concise. The executions of the silat techniques were great

You're right - the Karamit requires higher skill level. Personally, I think it's impractical. They're sexy and all, but too out of context in most situations. I also think the return on benefit in being proficient at using it is low compared to other skills time can be spent on. I know a couple great knife guys who have cut their own wrists open spinning them around. I think silat is cool, but I prefer the KISS approach. Keep up the nice work - I'll keep posted.
