About Britlin Losee composer & soprano
Britlin Losee is a composer and soprano. The first premiere of her work was in November of 2011 (A Twist of Fate) for Women's Choir and piano. She premiered her second choir piece, "You Give Me Faith", in February of 2012, and will be premiering both together with a full college choir in May 2012.
Britlin inspired Eric Whitacre to create his virtual choir. He remains to be her biggest inspiration, as well as Alexandre Desplat, Thomas Newman, and Hans Zimmer. She is very grateful to her parents for bringing her up with music, specifically classic rock.
Britlin has performed in choirs at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, as well as Shea Stadium.
