PLURAL + is a joint initiative of the UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAoC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), who, in conjunction with other partner organizations from around the world, have launched a youth video festival on the topics of migration and diversity.

Recognizing youth as powerful agents of social change in a world often characterized by intolerance, and cultural and religious divisions, PLURAL+ is aimed at involving youth in addressing the key issues in their community related to migrant integration, inclusiveness, identity, diversity, human rights and social cohesiveness. .

PLURAL+ invites youth from around the world to submit short videos on their thoughts, experiences, opinions, questions and suggestions on these issues and how to promote harmonious yet diverse societies.

A prestigious international jury will announce the winners at an awards ceremony at New York's Paley Center for Media on 12 November 2010.

PLURAL+ is also calling on youth from all over the world to vote before November 1, 2010 for their favorite video from the PLURAL+ 2010 Youth Video Festival finalist entries. The winner of the PLURAL+ Youth Audience Award will be announced on November 12, 2010 at the Paley Center for Media in New York. In addition, all youth participants selecting their favorite video will automatically enter in a drawing with the opportunity of winning a Flip camera.
