According to Aztlan elder Jimmy TenRivers of The Membreno Apache, the time prophecied long ago for the last-days resurgence of the Ghost Dance has arrived.
According to Wikipedia: "As the Ghost Dance spread from its original source, Native American tribes synthesized selective aspects of the ritual with their own beliefs, often creating change in both the society that integrated it and the ritual itself."
Wikipedia's circumlocution translates to what most tradition-minded native people know -- that the "Ghost Dance" as practiced by the Sioux under Chief Sitting Bull prayed for the death of all white people -- and was actually the antithesis of intent of the Original "Dance of Friendship and Welcome" as shown by the resurrected Jesus to Wovoka on the Walker Lake Indian Reservation in 1889-90.
In his lifetime, Wovoka was unjustly blamed for the Massacre at Wounded Knee.
