Songs posted here are of a Rock band "Moses" that was together from Mid 1973 - June of 1976 in Austin, Texas. We played at the "OneKnite" bar, which is now Stubbs at 801 Red River Road.
About Me:

I'm trying to find "Moses" aka: David Manry ... not sure of the last name spelling. Please if you know Moses ask him to contact me.
Thank You!!!

Hendrix was his inspiration and idol.
Moses has some amazing solos. That I would put right with Jimi Hendrix.

As for the wah-wah, he used a crybaby and for the effects he had some box with a blinking light inside of it. I couldn't tell you what it was called, but Moses said it WAS what Hendrix used.
Update:(Now known to be a uni-vibe)

As for her singing, will, she sounded better live is all I can say. She truly had a very nice voice. I never could really understand her very will, but then again our P.A. sys. was not the best thing in the world. I give her credit for her effort.
I have no idea what the lyrics where in any of these songs. But I know they were just as wild as the music was. I couldn't have sung them to this music.

As for my drum playing, will, I did the best that I could. I was much honored to have played for him.
We all sounded better live.

Also in defense of the band, this was recorded just months after being together. And it was recorded on an old stereo two mic 8-track recorder...yes one of those things we used before cassette tapes. Then it was transferred to cassette and now to digital. So some sound quality has been lost or was never picked up in the 1st place.
(Like the vocials and low-end)

Please if you should know him; I really need to talk to him before I leave this world, for I don't think I'll be late! And Jimi said not to be..."meet you on the next world"

Again Thank You!
Rick Shaw

The Message
Written by, Leonard Peltier

Silence they say is the voice of complicity.
But silence is impossible.
Silence screams.
Silence is a message,
Just as doing nothing is an act.

Let who you are ring out and resonate
In every word and every deed
Yes, become who you are.
Theres no sidestepping your own being Or your own responsibility

What you do is who you are.
You are your own comeuppance.
You become your own message.
You are the message.

~Destiny may be seen either as a fixed sequence of events that is inevitable and unchangeable, or that individuals choose their own destiny by choosing different paths throughout their life~

There are only two tragedies in life: one is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it.
~Oscar Wilde~

Incredible Ax playing man \ down right unbelievable stuff being played here. Fast as hell !
This dude is going to be a God after he's dead and gone if not sooner, and his music will become sought after, it'll be a prize to find. He'll be idolized like Jim Morison or Hendrix and Lennon. I worship him now !
Is he still alive and playing? - Why has the world not heard of him?

This music is really incredible stuff man - dang thats some riff-ting going on. You can very much hear the Jimi influence here. This band should have gone big time crazy back then - after reading the story and you finding him again - this should go 'viral' - the song "Captain Captain" is frigging AWESOME man.
