Audubon's mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.
About Me:

For more than 100 years, Audubon has inspired people to enjoy, appreciate and protect the natural world. Today, amid a host of environmental threats, our mission is more important than ever. Fortunately, there are many new and exciting ways to get involved. Together, we can shape a healthier tomorrow — for birds, other wildlife and the environment we share.

As a follow up to my comment below, I have another suggestion. As previously stated, the people of Hatteras island do not have money to fight for our freedoms in court. We understand that you (the Audobohn society) have the power and money to get whatever you want in court. So I suggest, instead of shutting our beaches down from 4x4 vehicles, why don't you insist that the Park Service set up stricter driving regulations on the beach. For example --- speed limits, and designated corridors and lanes for vehicles. The fisherman hate the joy-riders and donut-cutters on the beach as much as the bird wathcers do. All we want is a way to get to our favorite spots on Hatteras island. That's all we need. Please PLEASE PLEASE take my comments to heart, and please understand that most fisherman on Hatteras are just like me. Reasonable and sensible, with no intentions of harming the birds. Thank You.

Would love to see this and see hummers up close. I have some that come to my feeder every year and I've been making sure to keep the feeder claan and full as they prepare for their travel to their winter homes..I miss them going! Thanks for the great video!

Great site. Keep up the great work. The Out Islands have many Bird sanctuaries and land and sea parks. However, it is still a constant struggle to maintain these healthy environments. Many of our beloved birds like the Bahamian Parrot is endangered. Thanks for educating people with your videos.
