News Stringer Videos

This is my place for me to post my news stringer videos from over the years and present. I was a freelance videographer for the local news stations for 7 years from 90-97 in Milwaukee suburbs (Waukesha Co.). In those 7 yrs had many exclusive stories that ran for days and even a few look back stories (See my how to shoot news video). I did not work crime scenes as they were mostly always in Milwaukee. The rural Waukesha fires and accidents you could get great footage. I started with a Sony CCD-v110 8mm, then a CCD-V220, and finally a Sony EVW-300 3CCD Hi8. After moving to Texas in January 1998 I bought a Sony Betacam. I found out quickly that this business in Texas was too hard to get into and I sold all my gear and bought a house.

Disclaimer: We in the USA have little or no right of privacy from the media if you are in a public place. So long as everybody in that public place can see you, the media can photograph you, write about what you did there, and publish the pictures.
