The irony of the matter is that YouTube could easily fall under class action given they do nothing to prevent and punish those that continue to file fake DMCAs, especially taking into consideration it's something they address in their ToS and preach tirelessly to not tolerate. It annoys me how they simply decide to play the "safe card" and don't bother to investigate these phony claims; and it annoys me even more that we are the ones actually doing the legwork when it's their job as a company. Although I admit it's a wonderful feeling when you prove their ineptitude by winning.

Still, now not only are fake DMCAs the problem, but false content ID matches. I've had to delete three videos already due to it after counterclaiming and these "companies" falsely stating their ownership of the IDed material.
