I took you up on your suggestion, by the way. I don't suspect the humanist mongoloids that frequent such videos will have any good arguments to put forth, though.

People having a preference against pedophilia and slavery does not bridge the is-ought gap.

Citing people who believe in something doesn't prove anything.

@Dyscivist

If morals are arbitrary, then how did pedophilia and slavery became illegal in most countries TODAY? Every intellectual atheist would disagree with you, and that includes Richard Dawkins (biologist) and Mike Matt Dillahunty (former Christian fundamentalist turned atheist).

I suggest you should go debate any atheist on Youtube about morality. They know more about morality than the writers of the Bible. Why don't you comment on the video "Our Morals Are Not Arbitrary, Get Over It! - Atheist Experience" on Youtube? Let's see how OTHER atheists would react ( if you're adamant about your claim).
Dyscivist (4 months ago)
Morals are 100% arbitrary. The only way to bridge the is-ought gap is by making an instrumental claim, and that doesn't fall under the jurisdiction of morality anyways.

I am agnostic about God, just like i'm agnostic about the possibility of intelligent life on other planets (extraterrestrial life).
The reasons are thus:

1.) Scientists have discovered the presence of water and amino acids from heavenly bodies. On February 2, 2011, the Kepler telescope found 1,235 planets within our galaxy, 54 of which are within the habitable zones of their stars. 5 of them are the same size as earth. This shows the possibility of extraterrestrial life.

2.) Scientists discovered DARK MATTER -the invisible force that holds galaxies and clusters of galaxies together. They still don't know what it's made of. They know it exist bec. of how it bends light. Dark Matter is like a non-physical thing or like an invisible glue. If a non-physical thing called Dark Matter exist, then a non-physical being or force may also exist that made the universe.
