A billet DOHC cylinder head with Microsquirt EFI
@GrahamB29 Yes, I'm using the MSIIExtra. Husaberg has no built n cush drive and neither does the RS250. I manufactured a new hub for the RS250 with a cush drive just to ease the life of the gearbox and chain. // Bearing in mind the Toyota development department is somewhat larger, I guess it's O...

Hello, AnoukAD1980! Honda RS250 from 97-00 (or something) had the chain on the right side. No need to flip anything.

A billet DOHC cylinder head with Microsquirt EFI
@krislyttle: Thank you! We made two small "lids" on the left and right of the cylinder head. Between them there are two holes drilled on each side of the spark plug. There is also a water channel between the exhaust ports. This arrangement may seem not to provide enough cooling effect, but it wor...

@ladourex Thank you! Yes, I am familiar with the works of the Kamenicki brothers. Very inspiring indeed! The track looks very fun, although safety may be questioned.. ;-)

It was below zero this morning, so "driving" might take a while. I will disassemble the cylinder head now to make sure everything is working OK. Then it will come together with a special piston and then off to the dyno.

Husaberg part 3
Assembly of engine with new piston.
@thegenrl Thanks for watching and cheering! I have very little experience myself on piston coatings. Coatings on the skirts are for reducing friction. These are gaining in the market, which should mean they are found to be worth the money. The heat reflecting coatings (cheramical) are used on the...

@makexxx I wasn't sure on what RWHP to expect. The dyno showed 85 hp on the rear wheel, as can be seen here on my last video.

Husaberg part 3
Assembly of engine with new piston.
@2Petya Yes, if everything turns out as it should, I will use it for my 13th season of the Nordic Supermono cup. It weighs about 115kg. 250-style because it takes a 160 rear tyre to cope with the grunty power a large thumper produces. The 450's are a much better power plant for the 125-style. Sma...

Som jag kan torka upp oljan under den sprängda motorn med? ;-)
Om jag passerar 85hk ska vi nog ge bromsbänksmannen en ny kalibrering.

Nothing for the girls from Stockholm. Afterwards it seemed wiser to start it up outside the workshop.
@wichrau I believe it is stamped "1956". Regarding high sounds: -Don't you know that noises that you dislike, harm your hearing more easily? ;-) The first and second start (this clip) were the only ones indoors. Since then I have towed it outside, and generously educated my neighbours in motor hi...

@Spyrious Thank you! I believe "determination" is a key word here... ;-)

The crank speed is much more fluctuating during the combustion cycle on a 1 cyl engine. To get as accurate timing as possible, on both ignition and injection, 36 teeth are preferred. I'm just following the recommendations! ;-) Thank you for your interest, Parus!

@24c1963 Thanks! No, I have no reference on this dyno, so there is of course a failure margin to this value. My previous billet head (SOHC, 40/34mm valves, 50mm Lectron, SEM and a 470 piston) performed 70-75 RWHP on a dyno where I got 56 RWHP out of a 2002 with 470 piston and a 41,5mm Dellorto. 8...
