Hi. DrLemur here. Due to overwhelming public demand I've opened this special channel which is dedicated to making rambling half-assed tutorials about video editing in iMovie and Finalcut Pro as well as the occasional You Tube or MacOSX related walkthrough.
I'm not an expert, I'm not even a decent editor and there is a LOT I don't know but I can try to help with what I do. I hope at least a few people benefit from what I'm doing here.

I wonder if you can help me with this: I have loads of effects which I used with pinnacle but I have now decided to go with final cut pro but am not sure how to use them in FCP do you remember the little books you use to get that if you flicked the pages really quickly the characters seemed to be moving like they use (still do) with cartoons I have say 50 photos either JPEG, Tiff or even Photoshop which are slightly different that I would put onto the timeline foreground then change the time from 04.00 to 00.01 then when played over a background the effect was that the photo was moving be it dinosaurs, smoke, explosions etc but how can I do this with FCP please, hope you can help, Bill
