Hello, I'm a pianist and Piano Teacher. I've posted a few videos of myself playing piano, as well as a few other various things including a set of free piano lessons. I'll be adding more video's as I learn new songs and uploading one lesson every week or so for those of you who want to learn to play piano. Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy everything. My philosophy for teaching here is:

I'm focused on teaching you how to play for yourself. Not teach you to copy me. You're not a parrot so why should people treat you like one?
Because I focus on teaching you to play for yourself so you can learn the pieces you'd like to play with your own skills. I don't do requests for how to play this song or that song. If you want to know something about music/piano, or how something works let me know! I'll do my best to help you, as long as you're respectful. ^_^
Please though, before you ask any questions, look though my videos first, and if I haven't covered something you want to know about then ask away!

About Me:
I took weekly piano lessons for over 17 years starting at the age of 5, but I had a huge struggle with a heart issue. (Read my bio on my website for more info.)
I love to teach and to talk, I'm definitely a people person. I get a lot of enjoyment when I see someone learn something new.
I live in Canada, and I love to ice skate. In my past I used to teach many skating lessons around the city, which actually got me started in teaching. After teaching skating for awhile, I mixed my teaching experience with my background in piano and started my journey as a Piano Teacher. I didn't want to be an uneducated hack of a teacher though. I studied a bunch of courses on learning to teach and became a full time piano teacher. I haven't looked back since!

I'm just a regular guy, who enjoys helping people out. I've been playing piano and studying music since I was 5 years old, and I am currently a Piano Teacher in real life, I have about 30 students in my studio. I wanted to make this series to help people who want to learn piano, but can't afford or don't have access to a teacher. I'm a pretty easy going guy, so hopefully you'll be entertained!

You are such a blessing to many!! =) I started playing when I was 7 years old but I stopped and learn again, stop then learn again yeah you know how it goes.. haha! I'm 20 now. I still know how to play piano and read notes but I'm really slow in reading notes,haha! I really regretted those days that I really did not focus on playing the piano. Now, I am really determined to play the piano again beautifully and professionally. I know I'm gonna need a lot of practice and I'm thankful I found your site. I want to learn how to play chords too cause I really want to be able to play the musics that I hear. =) I just want to ask, do you have any suggestion for me? on where to start in your videos? cause I'm a little confuse where to start, hahaha! My last teacher said that I am in Advance in piano, cause I already know the basic stuff. so yeah, I will be tuning in to your youtube. Hope we can be good friends! God Bless!! =)

I found u today while looking for a youtube piano course to teach my daughter at home - I stopped learning at grade 2 (40 years ago sadly) and would also like to learn properly with her.Have you a hard copy dvd version or is there a way I can save your lessons to DVD? Your site is great and I look forward to learning from you! I found your tutorials early today, and I can't leave them alone. I've played guitar for 50 years, thanks to you I will now learn to read music, and play piano in the next few months, (not as good as you) thanks to you. You deserve an MBE, or a Cadbury's Dairy Milk. Thanks.
