A place for me to talk about game design, politics, philosophy and just about anything else the Constitution allows.
Name: John
John Wick is a multi-award winning game designer and author.

He was the creative director for Legend of the Five Rings, in charge of the story, characters and story tournaments for the collectible card game. He also designed the L5R roleplaying game. Both the CCG and RPG won the Origins Award for Best Game in their own categories.

He is the co-creator of 7th Sea (along with Jennifer Wick and Kevin Wilson) and served as creative director on the collectible card game of the same name. Both games went on to win Origins Awards in their own categories.

He created Wicked Press--which became the Wicked Dead Brewing Company with Jared Sorensen--where he published more award-winning and critically acclaimed games such as Orkworld, Enemy Gods, Cat: A Little Game about Little Heroes, Thirty, Discordia, and Schauermarchen.

His latest game, Houses of the Blooded, has garnered both professional acclaim and player support.

He has published one novel, No Loyal Knight, and his second is on the way.

GM says there is going to be an encounter.
Players roll a D6.
Results:
1. Rumor was false
2-3: Rumor "was" true (ex. minotaur is dead)
4-5: Rumor is true, but happens later. (forboding).
6. The rumor is true, and happens now! (Monster, trap, etc).

Once the level of truth is determined, the Game Master rolls randomly as to which rumor it pertains to.

Here's a variation on your idea I thought might be fun.
Each player suggests:
3 beasties
3 traps
3 weird rooms
1 goal (purposes for going to the dungeon)
Even draw a map if they like.

They share them with each other, and for every idea you put a D6 in the jar.

Love your channel. You're a bit cocky but that's also awesome.

Liking your channel, all hail narrative role-playing. I agree with both you and your friend Jared, You can run intrigue and story in D&D (Jared), but alot of the time it like punching your self in the face over and over again (You). Flipping through Houses of the Blooded, liking it.
