I have been editing videos for about five years. It started back in my high school Broadcast Journalism class with me as top editor and it grew from there. I have won two awards for editing video from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters in 2008 (1st place Documentary (Race for a Cure), 2nd place Public Affairs (United Way)).

I am now in college studying Musical Theatre!! Performing on stage is my life!! I would not give it up for anything. I have been acting since I was seven years old in my community theatre. I have performed in over 25 musicals and plays throughout my life, and plan to be in many more. I currently have an AA in Musical Theatre and am pursuing a BFA in Music with minor in Theatre at a Conservatory. Hopefully I will graduate in 2012 (You cannot know how excited and how much I WANT to graduate in 2012, the 100 year anniversary of Titanic's sinking 8D )!!!!! ....Yes, I am a Titanic nerd...XD

I have recently discovered the highly addictive art of fandubbing and have posted several songs and speakings from Disney movies. I auditioned for the role of speaking role of Quasimodo in FandubChick's full movie dub of Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and I got the role!!!!!! I am soooooooo excited to be a part of this dub. If you would like to check it out, you may find links to the various sections of the movie on this channel! I encourage you to check it out! All of the people in the cast are amazing dubbers and deserve to have people see their work!! Everybody does a super awesome job in this dub!

Fair Use of Copyrighted Material (interpretation by youtubers)

1. Purpose and Character of Use
We (people who upload fandubs with them singing copyrighted songs) are NOT doing this for any commercial purpose! We simply love to sing and listen to each other's singing, so the videos and instrumental versions of the copyrighted songs are just subordinate in relation to our own singing. Our voices add something new and give the songs a different character.

2. Nature of Copyrighted Work
The most important copyrighted material we're using is the melody of the songs. We don't take the original singers' voices and say they're our own, and the animation is really just a something that supports our singing.

3. Relative Amount
The amount of copyrighted material we're using is just fractional (background + music). The most important part in the movies is the singing part by the character, and that's just the part we're not infringing.

4. Effect upon Potential Market
In my opinion, this point was constantly overlooked by copyright owners!
We fandubbers are POPULARIZING animated videos by Disney, Don Bluth and other companies! If a fandubber sings a rather unknown song, his/her subscribers are inclined to look up the original video to compare and get to know more works of the copyright owner! Fandubbers are really a free advertisement for those companies, especially to make the songs known among teenagers and adults who usually make up just a small part of the target audience.
