What are the libdems policies for the justice system? i want to know that if some one is a convicted murderer or rapist or pedophile that they will get life in prison... AND LIFE MEANS LIFE not let out because "we feel sorry for them". also petty crime such as robbery why isnt this dealt with more harshly... i bet if you locked a little thieving chav up for 10 years he would never steal again.. and it wouldnt cost so much to keep them locked up if they DIDNT have plasma TVs and Luxuries that ordinary people DONT have!! Prisinors need harsher sentances and not get so many good things, then money could be spent on more worthy things such as NHS. And if they dont like it well then they SHOULDNT BREAK THE LAW!!!????

If by that you mean simply reform the House of Lords to make it democratically elected, that's what the Lib Dems actually plan to do.

Have you heard about the POWER2010 campaigne? It's a reform group that you can have give your ideas to and they'll put it forward. My idea was to change the House of Lords into something like the European Parliament.

They've got my vote. What we need is freedom, equality and transparency of government - Labour and the Conservatives will never deliver these and risk breaking the status quo.

It seems that the Labour and Conservatives are fresh out of ideas- for too long the public has simply nodded along with the 2 parties as they fight it out day by day. A scaling back on war and financial company/bank bonuses would save billions of pounds, which we could then put into developing alge fuel, as they are doing in California- that would cut the need for importing petrol and oils which only loses our cash to Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries. New industries like wind and biofuels would create more jobs and again make money for the U.K. in the long run. How about cloud-seeding in drought areas. (creating clounds by using silver iodide)- Beijing tested the idea on 01 November 2009 and 16 tonnes of snow fell on Beijing the next day... so much to do and so many old politicians in the way...

There is absolutely no way that I would ever vote Liberal, we have had a surfeit of liberlism, or what I would rather call irresponsibility, from all the parliamentary parties since 1945 and it has ruined the UK.
There are only two bodies that can make laws in this country and they are parliament and the judiciary: European laws notwithstanding. It therefore follows that the state of the Uk today is down to them. It also follows that the British National Party are going to get my vote in the general election and, despite a host of adverse propaganda from Westminster and the media which will be directed at the BNP, I suspect a good many other people will be voting for them also.

We're not voting for the main three parties any longer. They all agree with mass immigration, a united federal europe, blasmephemy laws to protect vile religions from debate, higher taxes on CO2, for example petrol, cars, flights, when global warming is the biggest lie the world faces! Forget LibDem, Tory, and ZANU Labour it is time to vote for other people. People who will debate and not whitewash the important issues of the day. The revolution is coming in 2010 we have had enough of our political masters!
