ARVN produces high quality, affordable ham radio programs on DVD. They work well as club meeting programs or for individual viewing. I've placed previews of some of my recent programs here on my YouTube channel.
About Me:

I've been a ham since 1965. I've been interested in radio/TV/broadcasting for about as long, working at radio and TV stations and boutique video production companies. Today I freelance, mostly audio, in the Raleigh NC area. ARVN brings my business and hobby together. The Travelocity commercial and Nike "Beat the BS" in my "favorites" are examples of my professional voice-over work.

Hi Gary,

Ben Ramler, KØBLR up here in Minnesota....your video of Beat the BS I think it was called in some ways is funny. Now if only we had a booming DSTAR system like our friends in Alabama! Here in Minnnesota we are still trying to recreate the wheel.

Hi, Cliff. Your best bet is to contact some local hams who know something about the radio systems and frequencies in your area. It appears you're in Britain, so you can start with your national society, the RSGB at www.rsgb.org. There's a tab on their web page for "Local Info" that will lead you to radio clubs in your area. As for D-STAR, there may or may not be a D-STAR repeater in your area (there are certainly some analog amateur radio repeaters nearby). To check on D-STAR, go to www.dstarusers.org. Click on the Repeater Directory link on the left, and set the "Select your desired country:" box to UK, and/or look at the map under "JFindU D-Star Maps". Good luck and I hope you get your license soon! 73 - Gary KN4AQ
