I filmed a very important video project the other day on my school's JVC GY HM100u in 60i, 1920×1080 in .mov format. I am running a 64-bit Windows Vista operating system, and when I transferred the files (I transferred correctly) to my computer, they would play back in VLC media player. When I brought them into Sony Vegas and then Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 and then Adobe After Effects CS4, they weren't recognized at all. I even tried converting them in MPEG streamclip but they weren't recognized. I tried copying them to a mac and they worked, but I do not have access to that mac before I need to have this project done, so I need to work on my Windows system, which SHOULD work. Can you please tell me what is happening wrong?
