Good question : To transfert my sketch on the canvas paper (that's what I use), I can use a light table, but I can also use a photocopy of my sketch that I darken at the back with a charcoal pencil and then re-draw the lines on my canvas paper (like a tracing paper in fact).
After I fix the pencil and add on pencil and fixative a soft layer of Acrylic binder to protect the paper from oil paintings. Otherwise, it absorbs too much. Good luck with your tries.

windows --> brush
and then I modify the setting :
- shape dynamic (not all the time, it depends),
- dual brush,
- transfert just ticked and
