This is precisely why theists misinterpret words like truth and faith, as though they were the same thing. The egregious statements concerning 'gods truth' uttered by all believers is anything but. When these ignorant fools claim to know that their holy books are the inherent word of god and are true or fact, they have crossed the line between ignorance and dishonesty; faith and fact. Consequently, the religious are therefor irredeemably dishonest. Anyone who claims and teaches others that an assertion is true and factual without empirical evidence to back the assertion is by definition lying. Liars by definition are deceivers! Ones intent is not a valid excuse for blatant falsehoods.

Isit because deep down we just dont want to admit that we are mortal & so invented a afterlife?
If we learnt to appreciated life more, help others & make the world a better place for everyone then there would be no need for an afterlife because life would be perfect.
