It's high time the Kenyan politicians realise that they are not above the law. Here at home they might control everything and high ride way above the law. The world is watching and Kenyan's are fed up of the impunity going on. No politician is innocent. All had a part in this, one way or another.
@ochwaldan there are a lot of problems in Kenya. ignorance and illiteracy being what politicians exploit.
@nathanrobem I beg to differ with you that the ICC was created for Africa. It was created to offer justice in instances where the judicial system appears to be a toothless dog.
Finally the same politicians had called for the ICC and rejected the creation of a local tribunal. The persons called up by the court were in it's full support until they heard their names in the list and started to develop cold feet. Mtoto akililia wembe mpe.

Kenyatta told Raila"Hague ni kwa nyina????"They only shout in Kenya. At the Hague they looked like common criminals. Uhuru could not find a kenyan lawyer?? And he wants to be the president??? He has no etiquette when addressing the court because he has never been to one since birth.

So Mozipiano what ur saying the icc has jurisdiction in african some asian countries. Then why is called the international court if it is nor internationall, it sould be called a court for the marginalized countries in Africa and Asia.
blastking2006 (9 months ago)
so when is Moreno going to summon Bush for war crimes in Afghanistan or israel over the killing in Gaza strip. If this people want us to respect this court it must serve justice for all not just picking on poor countires in africa and asia.
ochwaldan (9 months ago)
we love how transparent icc are. There is no problem in Kenya, If the suspect are innocent then, may they prove their innocence beyond doubt and if guilty may they face the real law of icc.
God bless Kenya, God bless the weak.
Amen

Kipgneno you are biased for obvious reasons. Even the God you are invoking here you want Him to just look at the plight of the six not the thousands killed & displaced during the violence. Trust me the 6 are not any special...they should be prosecuted & if there is more evidence that can implicate the principals then they should also be prosecuted. We do not want any sacred cows in Kenya & that is the cry of 61% of Kenyans. I dont think Ocampo has shared with you the evidence or witnesses he is going to produce...let him present them then you can form your opinion then. He should do his work without fear & favour for Kenyans are looking up to him to deliver justice to all the victims.God Bless Kenya!

to me, it has always seemed ICC was created only for african states, and only for personalities and regimes that some political masters from other countries dont like.

Dont ban outside travel of peaceful people that did not: torture, rape, cause bodily injury, physically abuse, or attempt to physically abuse. Don't say someone did something unless you physically witnessed it(not video) or have accurate physical circumstantial evidence(not words or video). If someone told you something, say, he/she said.

the ICC Judges should consider adequate reasonable compensation for the 600,000 Kenyans victims of the 2007/08 Post Elections Violence. The government using one of it's corrupt minister now under KACC investigation, compensated families a measly $130 / 92CHF / 93€ each...it is a shame. The master minds of the violence (who are among the richest in Africa) if found guilty of crimes against humanity ought to be compelled by the ICC to pay the bill, not the the already over-taxed poor Kenyan struggling to get by!
Thank You ICC for relentlessly pursuing justice in Kenya!
