Interesting - I wasn't sure about the lineup - thanks for the info! They were a great band
No, there are different bass players. That's the original bass player, Marc Waldman in the videos. He left sometime around late '89 or early '90, before they put out their first album. Marc was replaced by Pat Behler, who plays on the Electric Dave video (the one not with video of the band, but the VCR).
Holy s***, i typed in the 4g's and got these great videos. I have to mdamore57, that the Rangers were my fav band at the 4G's. I saw them once and was hooked, they were a great band, another band i remember seeing their was Ashtray. I think Ashtray used to toss in some ZZ Top covers in their show, cause i remember them doing Waiting for the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago. The G's was a great bar, everyone was cool, esp the owner, we called him Sensi, he was a big karate guy. Man, this brings back major memorys...f'n 20 years ago!!!

I taped at least 4 Psyclone Rangers shows, but I can only find one. I don't know what happened to the others. I think the one I have also has the crappiest audio. Eventually, I'll get a couple more clips from it posted.
I lost some other tapes from that era, including Mad Dog & Blues Night Out and the Original Sins. The Sins was recorded at the Funhouse but it was audio only.
Check out the MDI clip. It's from a mono copy of the original tape, but it still packs a punch. That's Matt Roman on Guitar.

Got a link to some of your vids from a friend. My jaw dropped when I saw the two Psyclone Rangers clips and the Goonies clip. I am guessing that I was at those gigs, because around that time I was ALWAYS down on the Southside listening to those great bands. Of them all, the Rangers were my favorite. Anymore Rangers clips from way back would be appreciated. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
