I meant to say that it is a GOOD thing that the feel is different!!! The old style singers make ochi chornie into a very heavy melodrama - because in old times it was sung in ... well, what's the name .... taverns, but E. European style taverns - with officers and gypsy dancers and votka flowing all night, people losing all their money on gamble and girls and drink, and people dieing from tuberculosis. Today it is different - ochi chornie can be sung as a more genuine, happier love song. Not a drunken self pitiful self destructive endeavor. You get what I am talking about? I am Eastern European so please try to glean what I am talking about. Read some E. European old style writers and you will know what I am talking about. In short: the OLD FEEL for this song is equivalent of singing in today's all night club where people are getting high on crystal meth and doing all kind of stupid things. There - hopefully this explains it :)

Thank You so much for the comment! Yes I know the feel is different, that was when I wasn't such a good piano player. I"m not so much better now but I can say I'm improving! :) Again thanks so much for the wonderful comment! It means a lot to me since that wasn't my best piano playing!
