"I am not a stereotyped Latter-day Saint, and do not believe the doctrine. . . . Are we going to stand still? Away with stereotyped 'Mormons'!"

--President Brigham Young

cont'd--

"The diffidence or timidity we must dispense with. When it becomes our duty to talk, we ought to be willing to talk. . . . Interchanging our ideas and exhibiting that which we believe and understand affords an opportunity for detecting and correcting errors"

--President Brigham Young

"Though argument does not create conviction, lack of it destroys belief. What seems to be proved may not be embraced; but what no one shows the ability to defend is quickly abandoned. Rational argument does not create belief, but it maintains a climate in which belief may flourish."

Re: Vote Yes on Prop #8 (16 minutes ago)
Actually a great deal more than that changed in Canada. There are talk show hosts not allowed to have their shows on the airwaves in Canada because of their personal views on homosexuality. If you can curtail freedom of speech for talk show hosts over such an issue what's inhibiting some future ruling against a Church?
Re: Vote YES on Prop 8 (19 minutes ago)
I say it's interesting because I am an ethnic Ephraimite. Well the conflict is interesting because the OT is full of talking about the enmity the two ruling tribes. I'll let you come to whatever conclusions you want to about me considering myself an Ephraimite.
Re: Vote YES on Prop 8 (20 minutes ago)
Interesting. I mean I knew you had Jewish connections. I just find that very often that most of the most intense disputes I enter into on ideological issues tend to be with those who are ethnic Jews (I have several friends with whom I've not gotten into such disputes over ideology, in fact I dated one).
Re: Vote YES on Prop 8 (30 minutes ago)
I'm asking us to respond by going to where the demographics sociology directs. Science can't offset the collapse of demographics, it simply can't. However Japan tries they will not manage to save their culture and bloodlines via robots. Fertility rates are dropping like a rock in IRAN of all places, in twenty-five years Brazil, Mexico and China will all be demographically older that the US, and we're not set to get any younger demographically.
Re: Vote YES on Prop 8 (33 minutes ago)
First off your claim that scientific progress has an inverse relation with religion is simply and clearly a claim that's demonstrably false. Innovation and progress technologically, even the renaissance and the enlightenment itself, were enabled by progress in theology and the existence of religion. You construct a false dichotomy to set them up in zero sum competition, it's simply not tenable if one looks at history.

The ongoing conversation between me and BigEvasive as initiated with my Davos answer

If the ModestAgnostic reads this I wonder if he'd consider, considering he's posted his vids as a response to my Davos Answer video, unblocking me from commenting and participating in his videos and then cease from the selective censoring of me that he carried out previous to finally blocking me.

There are more important issues in America then Proposition 8. It doesn't effect everyone, even if you think so. The simple conclusion to the issue is NO. It's not fair for the gays in America and one day you will see it. You want to talk about marriage you Polygamist, STOP MARRYING FIVE DIFFERENT WIFES (talk about hypocrisy)

wtf is wrong with playing with video games, even if they are violent. They dont make me want to rob a store or kill someone. Also working at Taco Bell while I'm at school isn't out of the ordinary dipshit, what makes you think that I have issues you stupid morman conservative piece of shit. :)

Yep, I drew that. :) It was just a quick scribble! Thanks. ^^

By the way, did you notice that you joined Youtube on my birthday last year? Coincidence, or CONSPIRACY?

(Coincidence, of course! :D )

Ah, I did want to take one last moment to reply to your question about Ender! I like the series in general, but I feel Card eventually commits a literary crime when he lets his own personal feelings for the characters override logic, providing these sudden deus ex machina moments that just resolve the conflicts in utterly ridiculous ways. It feels like he eventually compromises the integrity of his own literary universe to accede to his own wishes and wants as writer.

And while that's totally within the author's right to do, it does detract from the story's integrity, imho, and I wish sometimes the conflicts would have just resolved themselves in sensible ways, instead of magical author-induced best case scenario endings.

But it's been a few years since I last read the series so you'll have to forgive me if I can't remember the specifics! There was one other book in the series I really loved, I just can't remember which one it was at this point.

The thing that strikes me above all with my suspicions confirmed on "Ben" alias "AntiCitizenX" alias "Stopthemormons" alias "Jr" alias "nageljr" alias "Engifreakineer" is how his pride an bravado are what exposed him, they exposed his core intent in the first "Stopthemormons" video, it exposed his dishonesty on several occasions. Most of all it exposed the hypocrisy, the disconnect between what he claimed to be his governing motives and his complete lack of allegiance to such. His pride became his transparency, his 'nakedness.' Ultimately proving my points and turning his mockery and revillings against the very ends he sought. Against the very group he claimed allegiance to, the rational and scientific.
HiveRadical (3 weeks ago)
I'm glad he's never lied to you. But he has lied, several times, in the name of seeking (and he explicitly claimed that this was his intent) to destroy the Church.

If I'm a bully I'd hate to see your analysis of the prophets, Elijah was rather forward and gruff and confrontational. Christ called people vipers and hypocrites.

"1. Anti's not my boyfriend. That's what we laymen call an assumption.

2. You are mistaken as to his identity.

3. No, he's never lied to me."

He may not presently be. I know he expressed frustration in his first vid on his previous YT account about how the Church was getting in the way of being with the one he wanted to be with.

Secondly I'm not mistaken on his identity as far as his previous actions on YouTube are concerned, I have photos--solid proof.

Ooh, I'm probably going to regret this later.

1. Anti's not my boyfriend. That's what we laymen call an assumption.

2. You are mistaken as to his identity.

3. No, he's never lied to me.

4. I'm not your enemy. I'm an active Latter-day Saint who ignores most of what anti says on church topics for reasons very different than yours; however, I feel no desire to share these reasons with a random stranger/bully on the internet.

And that's all I have to say about that. Our exchange is over. I genuinely hope you find peace in your life.

Welcom back 'Ben'!...er...AntiCitizenX.

I would post this to your page but I'm having too much fun for you to see it right away, and I don't know what you'd consider to be 'blatantly inflammatory' or not. You have so much in common with Ben and he had some interesting definitions on stuff, so I'm not sure I can trust your 'objective' and 'non-biased' judgment when applying the qualifications you give on your channel as apt reasons for censoring.

There is a time and place (Ecc. 8:6).

I'm doing well, I just got engaged about a week ago so I'm thinking the time I allocate to youtube is going to diminish in the upcoming months on-top of Graduate school.

That's fine though, she's supportive of what I do on here. Girlfriends do take a lot of time don't they? If it's right, she'll be worth the time.

Peace,
