CC Related:
I am the head of an online computer organization that is called the Computer Clan. This channel was started before the CC existed, so this is the main video posting site for Computer Clan-related videos. The Computer Clan YouTube channel shows featured videos from us, and is used to provide videos for the YouTube section in our iOS app.

More Personal:
I am really into computers. I've been using computers since I was 3. My first computer was a Power Macintosh 6400. Man that computer was great. It was fast, and had no problems.

I do a lot of my own work, I work in my school's IT department, and I do work for clients. I also work at our local public TV broadcasting studio. My favorite thing to do on computers is something that's actually not that technical. It's more of an art. And that is video editing, and graphic design. I am involved in after-school clubs that make videos for fun, and community service (an excellent thing for a resumé). I am actually so good with the Final Cut Platform, that most of the other students there thought I was a senior. Well I'm not. I just seem to be older to other students. When shooting, I always use Sony products because I prefer their cameras over others. However, if I am filming on location with another business, or school, I use whatever cameras they have. I use Final Cut Pro X as my main editing software.

A hobby coming a long with video editing/directing comes story writing. I'm always up for good movies, books, and games that have a really good story to them. I am currently writing a novella that is inspired by Valve Software. It will contain some ideas from some of their games, along with a lot of my original ideas. Together, I will blend them together in a new, cool, and unique way. The story will spread across two books when the whole thing is done. And when it's done, you'll get to see it.

Some other modern Apple products I have are an iPad 2, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch 4th gen, AirPort Express, Time Capsule, Apple TV 1st gen, Apple TV 2nd gen, and the Magic Trackpad.

I also collect old computers. Mainly Macs because, honestly, there aren't many things special about older PCs. They're mostly generic. However, I do have parts from a TRS-80 M4. I have 13 old Macs (if I remember right), and most of them work. One had a shorted-out PSU, but all of the others work great. I even have a Macintosh SE, from 1987, that still works great. I even threw in a 500 MB SCSI HDD and it works without a hitch. Heck, it even boots the entire Mac OS in about 12-14 seconds. I even have some old Apple //e personal computers. Both work great too, but I have no video cables for the monitor I have.

I also like gaming. I really like Valve Software as a game company. Because they don't just make games, they make the most creative story lines ever. I have replayed Portal, Portal 2, and my favorite parts of the Half-Life 2 series, over and over again. I still enjoy them so much.

I like Windows, I like OS X, and I like certain Linux distros. I just prefer to use OS X because of it's incredible stability, and it's the industry-standard for digital media. I also like Apple products. No, I am not an Apple fanboy, I just like the way Apple thinks. They think about important design factors and innovations. Not just things that people want in a product. And that's what gives Apple products the advantage, and that's why I prefer them.
