Hibernation is a music and art project founded by Ryan Millan Pangilinan on May 2009 and it is located in Tarlac City, Philippines. It is an independent project that intends to revive No Wave music and collaborate it with Dark Wave and New Grunge music. From its early days until present, Hibernation never gets any attention from any scene in and out of the city. One reason is because Avant-garde and No Wave music is too unconventional to be appreciated by a common listener. The name Hibernation came from the idea of isolation and temporary rest from what has been going on for a long time.
