Riding tips for _NEW_ Mountain bikers - Riding concepts and techniques for CONTROLLED riding, product reviews, general setup and maintenance.
Additional videos on eating for energy & fitness.
About Me:

I have Mountain biked on and off for years on a old Diamondback apex. Then I purchased a full suspension Mtb and started traveling to new places around the N. Cal area. I learned the hard way in some aspects of Mountain biking and it would have helped if an experienced rider informed me the fundamentals of riding. (THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RIDING ON THE ROAD and ON A MOUNTAIN BIKE)

After learning quite a bit, I made a few vids on the key fundamentals of mountain biking to help out the beginning/novice rider as there is more to learn than you think.
Review them and apply the concepts to your trail riding to gain CONTROL over your bike and avoid costly falls... (costs to your body and to your bank account...your hospital bill may be more than the cost of your bike)

The more Mtb'ing knowledge and skills you have will increase your confidence in your riding abilities and will lead to enjoyable rides where you can appreciate the outdoors, trees, wildlife, fresh air and get in a great workout at the same time.

Have a safe ride and I'll see you on the trails =}
