I hope I could get you to play Salpakan (Games of the Generals-a Filipino game) sometime but unlike Shogi and chess, I don't think there's any standard rules and theories about it yet. ^^

Hello! I have been interested in Shogi for quite some time now, and your videos have helped me a lot. Thank you very much, I really appreciate all the effort you've put into them, they've been a great learning asset!

Two things, however, one: the How to Play Shogi videos all use the traditional chinese symbols. While this is understandable, for new players it could be a fairly large barrier to learning the intricacies of the game through your videos. Would it be possible to redo a few of them using the Western Style of characters, to make it easier to understand the situation?

Two, where did you purchase your board and pieces? I only have access to a computer version of Shogi, but having a real board to learn with would be great.
