Graduated from Kelly Walsh High School, attended Casper College, and graduated from the Univeristy of Montana with a Forestry Degree. Worked in Wyoming as a Forester, Woodcutter, Outdoor Caretaker,and Utility Line Locator; 36 years of working in the great Wyoming outdoors.
Served in the Peace Corp from '80-'82 in Guatemala, Central America. This was during the Death Squad era when the Elites were killing the Mayans - the indiginous native of the country. Mayans were asking for land reform and an end to oppression. This violently tryannical experience motivated and educated me to become politically active.
I started my political career by helping other Democratic candidates and subsequently ran for office myself.
Since that time I have been elected 6 times within a heavily Republican county - which to speaks to my appeal to all citizens who care the future of Wyoming and our country.
For over 24 years, I have been a active participant in the political scene of Wyoming. I have ran for office 12 times and thoroughly understand not what Wyomingites believe, but also have the ability to speak on their behalf but also deliver that messages to the powers in D.C.
As a lobbyist for the Wyoming Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, I was able to improve state laws and help protect women and families.
I have worked in Wyoming, I have been a public servant to the citizens of Wyoming, and I am experienced on political processes and needs of Wyoming citizens.
I will not only go to DC only owing the citizens for their financial support, but I will represent our great state, but help direct our country out of the mess it is in due to greed and lack of vision.
