About Akira Ifukube--Master Works

Hello everyone. My name is Evan, and I have dedicated much of this profile to supporting and promoting music by the great composer Akira Ifukube (1914-2006).

Few non-international music buffs know of this genius, and of those that do most are only familiar with his musical scores for film and television during his career, which included--amoung other things--most (and the best) of the famous Godzilla movie series (1954-2004).

Hence, the hope of this profile (via my music series "Akira Ifukube--Master Works") is to widen the understanding of those who only know him by name or film soundtracks, and to give a fresh introduction to those that have never heard of him before.
