GalGael address issues affecting many people in the Govan community such as unemployment, addiction, isolation etc through working with wood and other natural materials in celebration of Scotlands unique cultural and natural heritage. Our 32ft Hebridean Galley "Orcuan" is a well known feature on the Glasgow's River Clyde and sailing on her reconnects our participants not only with some some of the world's most beautiful landscapes and seascapes but often with past communities who have lived and worked on Scotland's coastlines since ancient times.
