Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden (Good Times, Bad Times) debuted on RTL4 on October 1st, 1990 and is the longest running (and most popular) soap opera in the Netherlands.

Ferry Doedens has been playing the role of Lucas Sanders since June 2009. Lucas is the son of Stefano and Janine. He was living in New York with his father, but returned to Meerdijk, the fictional town where the show is set.

Raynor Arkenbout has been playing the role of Edwin Bouwhuis since October 2010. Edwin and his family moved to Meerdijk.
