What if I told you that I don't care? I don't believe abortion is wrong, but, I don't believe it's right either.

To Crunchy: Lia chose this speech for a grade 7 English project. She was pressured to change her topic, but she was adamant that she wanted to do the topic of abortion. This is all her.

To Dolloze and Webkinz : I would reply that the way in which a human life is conceived doesn't change the inherent value of that life. A raped woman needs a lot of help and support, but killing the life conceived in her doesn't help her to heal any more than if she was to kill her rapist.




Rape victims who choose life and learn to walk in forgiveness heal from their trauma much more quickly. Rape victims who have had abortions usually report that the abortion was more violating than the rape.
Murder isn't the way to overcome a terrible tragedy.

There still is a 1% of people out there that DO get raped and are now pregnant. This woman or little girl CAN NOT and WILL NOT have this baby. You need to focus on this topic more. The whores that have unprotected sex can just straight up go to hell. That should be stopped.

Could not an adult have given this speech? Or was the exploitation of a child that necessary for the dramatic affect? Is the emotional appeal to human life and dignity made more poignant by exploiting an innocent 12 year old? Just curious.
