From The Depth start to breakthrough to North Italy's metal underground scene in late 2008.
During the first year of playing together they work hard to create their first EP "The Will To Be The Flame" recorded at Old Ones Media and produced by Giulio Capone.
Thanks to the early underground success they start playing live in some of the most important rock venues together with some... of the most reknown italian rock bands.
In October 2010 they get signed by Rising Records (UK) and their first full length album is distributed worldwide.
In April 2011 F.T.D. travel to the UK to start recording their next album at the Rising Records Studios (UK), they will later on finish recording at Block Studios and Old Ones Media Studios.
While working at their new album they gain more and more attention thanks to their fans and they are invited to "An Evening With Kamelot", where they play on the same stage as Kamelot, Sons Of Season and some other special guests such as Simone Simmons and Fabio Lione.
F.T.D. finish recording the new album in July 2011 and they send their work to be mastered by Roberto Dimitris Liapakis at Prophecy Studios.
"BACK TO LIFE" will be released in November 2011.

Fondati a fine 2008, i From The Depth iniziano immediatamente a farsi notare nella scena metal underground del nord Italia.
Gli sforzi del primo anno di attività sono premiati con la realizzazione del loro primo EP "The Will To Be The Flame" registrato
agli Old Ones Media, sotto la supervisione di Giulio Capone.
Nel frattempo, l'attività live è incessante e porta la band a suonare nei più famosi rock club del nord italia insieme a nomi
di spicco della scena italiana.
Nell'ottobre 2010 vengono contattati dalla Rising Records (UK) con la quale firmano un contratto discografico per la distribuzione mondiale
del loro primo full lenght.
Nell'aprile 2011 la band si reca in Inghilterra presso i Rising Records Studios (UK) per iniziare le registrazioni dell'album che proseguiranno in seguito ai Block Studios e agli Old Ones Media.
Durante le registrazioni, la band forte del supporto sempre maggiore dei fans, viene chiamata a suonare al prestiogioso evento
"An Evening With Kamelot", dove divide il palco con alcuni dei maggior esponenti della scena metal mondiale,Kamelot, Sons Of Season ed
alcuni ospiti speciali tra cui Simone Simmons e Fabio Lione.
Nel luglio 2011 le registrazioni terminano e la band affida il mastering ai Prophecy Studios di Roberto Dimitris Liapakis.
"BACK TO LIFE" vedrà la luce nel novembre 2011.
