First Friday Night Live is a collaborative arts project. Part musical act, part performance art, part stand-up, but mostly sketch comedy - FFNL is the perfect nightcap to the First Friday Artwalk experience in Phoenix, AZ and the primary source of hijinks from the people who live there.

November's show will be hosted by Phil Freedom, who will be sharing the stage with an array of characters that he has created over years of publishing, writing, running local businesses, establishing creative projects, and supporting community. Known primarily as the face behind PHX BUX, Conspire, and skateboard video camerawork: there is no limit on what stunts this man might execute on this night of sketch comedy.
The Complainiacs are Phoenix's grimiest punk trio. They once made New Times' writer Steve Jansen's ears bleed while he was writing a story about auditioning the bass player. While his ears drained, he wrote, "The Complainiacs' standard operating procedure is to play ear-raping, jet engine-loud punk rock in an F-U style." Drummer Matt Spastic used to live in the Firehouse in 2008. He is determined to b low the roof of at this homecoming.
There are two ways for you to watch the show. First, you can be a part of our LIVE studio audience. Tickets are $5 presale, and $7 on the day of the event. If you want to see the event for FREE from anywhere in the world, FFNL is available to watch via USTREAM.com. FFNL Season 2 tickets will be available at the box office inside the Firehouse Gallery and Lawn Gnome Publishing Bookstore. Adult themes and language will be present.
