About Me:

The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum is Americas first presidential library-and the only one used by a sitting president. It was conceived and built under President Roosevelt's direction and opened to the public in 1941. The library resulted from the President's decision that a separate facility was needed to house the vast quantity of historical papers, books, and memorabilia he had accumulated during a lifetime of public service and private collecting.

Today the mission of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum is to foster research and education on the life and times of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, the Great Depression and World War II, and their continuing impact on contemporary life. Our work is carried out by four major areas: Archives, Museum, Education and Public Programs.

Can you please upload video (pics with audio is ok too if video does not exist) of FDR's 2nd Inaugural Address, January 20, 1937? I recently read the address and would love to hear it spoken straight from the man himself. His words are not only inspiring, they are equally as pertinent today as they were then. Thank you for sharing.

Great President. Nobody left to advise or oversea what Roosevelt signed agreement with. Much work was done for a while untill a bad event. Bad events like I guess granmas welfare check or someone recieved severe persoanl injury people are now buying 100% forieng cars and spen for granma who dies and a feller that never got anyting for severe damage. Rosevelt did look to the future but some don't listen. Dentist did not like rosevelt they tax deduct and call it a joke. I like Hoover that was my hero.
