Goals:
-Inspire rationalists, atheists, secular humanists, and freethinkers.
-Provide support and solidarity for other former Christians.
-Inform the undecided.
-Generate discussion with the open-minded and intellectually honest religious.
-Cause the over-confident religious to question their unwavering certainty.

This channel is centered around using evidence and reason as the justification for beliefs.

It is about letting the evidence speak for itself without having any preconceived biases about what it should say. (Unless, of course, those biases are based on previous strong evidence. But all biases should melt away in the face of new, stronger evidence.)

The ethic of this channel is inspired by the Secular Humanist tenets of testing beliefs and believing strongly only in beliefs for which we, as a species, also have strong evidence.

You may be growing desensitized to lauding by now, but I just wanted to say that your videos are marvellous. Please keep doing what you're doing!

I have really enjoyed your deconversion series. To my Christian parents, I recently have come out of the closet as a agnostic at best. Your deconversion series has encouraged and helped me in finding ways to explain my own deconversion to my parents while maintaining clear respect. On top of that, your production values are outstanding and the depth in which you have thought of these matters is clearly conveyed. I really look forward to your next installment.

I would have to say that early on, I decided that I need to seek truth above all else, and after much reading and viewing of excellent videos such as yours, I have discarded religion. I look forward to more videos, keep up the great work!

Thanks for the music reference, your vids are really eye-opening, even to atheists (especially those who once professed belief in a Theistic God!!). Can't wait for the next one!!

I was so moved by your deconversion videos. You are a voice for everyone who has lived this but can't speak. These are the most important videos I have ever found on youtube. The kind of stuff that changes the world. I mean that sincerely.

Oh hey man, forgot to tell ya great video! As a Christian, these are things that need to be taken into account and not swept under the rug. I greatly appreciate your hard work, keep it up! :)

Wow, gr8 vids bro! I am a former Christian as well. We have certainly travelled very similar paths. The videos you are posting are exceptionally good. I sense no animosity or hostility at all... keep it up! Subscribed! Peace!

I think I've mentioned this before, but I think your deconversion story is unmatched here on youtube. It's well-done, well-thought out, and very respectful. Your videos have not only been enjoyable, but have also been a way to share my deconversion process with my husband without worrying about "steping on his toes". You have become my favorite atheist youtuber, kudos!

im just tryng to keep an open mind to much myth has been proven to be true, like the giant squid and the city of troy and who knows what else science will find, atlantis the noth american ape ect.

you have had your conflict of faith based on mislantrations and errors in the bible, what if some of the most outrageous claims in the bible are the bipruduct of primitive people without science trying to explain advanced science with supernatural explanations. like the snake in the garden of eden, what if it was a reptilian shgapeshifter who informed the humans on something that his supperiors didnt want them to know,"the tree of knowledge"
