I have a 3D kinematic one (in a proof of concept stage) and a 2D one based on real physics. They are not glamourously looking though.

if you keep modeling this way (whitout matlab-simulink or any other crappy software)
soon you will be modeling the human genome or maybe some artificial inteligence... or why not, some complete universe inside a excel spreadsheet...

OK... i learned about these unbelievably tricked out Excel spreadsheets from a link on Chandoo's site. These visualizations are truly impressive. Thank you for making them public. I would very much appreciate the spreadsheet (oscillators, roller coaster and planetary explorer) . I am not sure I can improve on them (I know I can't) but would really like to try and understand what is going on with the formulas in relation to the graphs. wmcnair2@comcast.net.

The file has 2 different workbooks. The second work book is the generation part. You can create your own curves by typing various angle combinations. It is a "copy-paste" macro which tips and tilts all the previous steps in the coaster based on a "master 3-angle table". The result is then automatically copied in the first book where you can "ride" it. Also check "excelcalcs.com" for more explanations in the "excelcalcsTV" section.
