Some observations:
Apparently it is legal to shorten one's own life by several decades through an unhealthy diet and a lazy lifestyle, but it is NOT legal to shorten one's own life by a few weeks or months with a lethal injection, even when there is no chance of recovery. What a strange world we live in. Since pro-lifers seem to dislike "helping people commit suicide" so much, are they willing to outlaw cars, trains tall buildings and rope? Because they make suicide much easier too. |

I've really enjoyed watching the vids from the Adapt meeting in Chicago & the NH Presidential Disability Forum. I thank everyone responsible in making this possible. Of course, this is not the same as "being there" but it's the closest possible for many of us to experience what happened at both meetings.
