Thanks guys! Answering a few Q's - the center-bottom eddie creeps me out too. That was in fact the take on the recording (apparently). I re-synced it but it does still seem a bit off for some reason. I generally go without headphones these days. I sang this one mostly to the organ sound, but the ...

This channel will host a series of performance music videos, in a wide variety of genres. The idea is to record the instruments and vocals live on camera, with minimal fixes, and then sync together the shots and make a video out of them. The material will be eclectic...so far I have gone from hard rock to "yacht rock." Next up, Tears For Fears. Please subscribe!Copyright information: When I started to record cover songs for YouTube, I intended to do it 100% legitimately, including paying royalties to the original artists. I have since learned that U.S. law does not yet have a way to deal with musicians who perform cover songs on YouTube.
If you record an audio-only cover and release it on a CD or on iTunes, it is extremely easy and inexpensive to get clearance and pay the royalties to the original artist. Similarly, if you perform covers at a club, the venue has a deal with ASCAP and BMI to protect the performers and ensure that the original artists are compensated. However, YouTube as a medium is too new to benefit from such legal protection. Clearing a copyright for one of my cover videos would require securing a synchronization license directly from the artist, which can cost thousands of dollars. This is because the existing law makes no distinction between using an artist's composition in a Pepsi commercial vs. shooting a cover performance in your bedroom and uploading it to your YouTube channel.
For many decades, songs have been continually renewed and exposed to new audiences through the work of performers who covered them. Today, YouTube is equivalent to the clubs and coffee houses that were once the only options for many performers. It is therefore in the best interests of both songwriters and performers that U.S. law gets updated to reflect this situation.
@Acrinimiril -- No answer then? That's about right. There is no answer.
