Tons of trains
About Me:

I love model trains and want to work on the western Maryland or Strasburg. and to buy a ware house to make a railroad museum and model railway, and of coarse, with a 2 ft gauge out side. I am devoted to preserving railroading history, so many forgot that this nation (USA) would not be one of the top powers in the world with out them, and wouldn't have settled the west as early. I like steamers the best, then diesels and electrics. I love rail fanning old steamers, especially my favorite engine in existence Strasburg # 90( favorite engine ever, Western Maryland Decapod #1108). I prefer MTH to Lionel, but do like their vision line, and best detailed building. And despite what so many think, MTH does have wireless tethers on premier engines, i know people who say that they'd switch to MTH if they had wireless tethers, then i prove them wrong. I love new technology, but do like old forms of transportation, sailing and steam trains, rather than motor boats and plains. My layout is supposed be a modern layout, the reason i have steam is because its supposed to be a tourist railroad that has a modern diesel to haul freight loads to local company's. The layout is never done, i don't get to work on it much, but when i do i love it. My first Premier engine is the MTH 2-10-0 Russian decapod Western Maryland #1108 with high rail wheels. It can negotiate 0-31 turns, and has proto 2.0, and is my favorite Model train ever made. The ELMS Lines is 10 years old as of 2012, and there for started in 2002, but back then i had 3 or 4 engines, and no table for them, i was a carpet runner, but always wanted a table, so i built one in 2005 or 2006, i am not sure, but the 3rd table, the best was built in 2010. Thats the one with DCS, the first table is the HO one, its supposed to be done in November of 2011. The 2nd, is obliviously the more classical looking layout, the conventional lay out, the O gauge table in the middle f the room. The house its in is over 200 years old. Once i get a huge train room i plan to have a four loop O gauge with an outer track radius of 103, yes they make that, and an inner loop radius of 0-72, and a mountain logging run with a 2 truck shay with a minimum radius near the summit of 0-36, and at the bottom 0-54. I am obsessed with trains and will tell or admit to it to anyone.
My favorite engines in order of top 10 are, WM 2-10-0 decapod #1108, Strasburg RR decapod #90, Cass Shay #5, Cass Shay #6, Cass shay #11,EBT # 15 2-8-2 Mikado, New Hope RR #40, 4-4-0 American WARR #3 the General, WM Challenger 4-6-6-4 #1203.

The HO layout is in a few of my videos(for a few seconds), as you should know the old one came down about 11 months ago, soon, around this Christmas it will be back, new improved and hopefully with 766 running again.

Hello I saw your comment on my channel and to answer your question the Atlantic does not have an opening boiler front. To my knowledge only the Vision steam locomotives do. This is really not a big deal because it really is just another piece that could be broken or snapped off. This engine is a great model to have and I highly recommend it. I bet the B&O version is really nice. Get it if you want it. Thanks for watching my videos!
