The name DyNAbyte is the sum of the words dynamite, DNA and byte and embodies the spirit of a powerful music born from human brain but excited by technology.DyNAbyte was formed back in 1998 by Giallo (voice), LJ Dusk (guitar) and John (bass), survivors of the split of an underground hard rock band, which wanted to give music another appearance with the help of mechanical devices. The aim was to create a perfect mix between computer and man, playing a kind of music that is the result of carrying techno loops supported by powerful guitar riffs and claustrophobic-melodic lyrics. The band began with playing some cover from Rammstein and Marilyn Manson, but soon DyNAbyte started creating its own music and in 1999 the first demo-cd was released. The songs were clearly inspirited by Fear Factory Remanufacture album.
In 2000 the new songs were ready and the original sound rise out in tracks like No Mercy, I'll Rise and DyNAbyte, a tribute to itself, that can still be considered as the band's hymn.
In November 2001 Giallo leaves DyNAbyte and the new singer is immediately identified in Cadaveria, probably the most famous female metal voice in the worldwide underground. Cadaveria is already a good friend of John (aka Killer Bob from CADAVERIA band) and LJ Dusk and, being interested in experimenting new ways of making music, she accepts the challenge to go beyond her Black Metal roots. After a four track demo-cd, in 2003 DyNAbyte signed an agreement with Nocturnal Music (now Rotten Inc.) and began working on the debut album.
Recorded half in DyNAbyte's own studio and half at Capt. Woofer studio, in Italy, the album, entitled Extreme Mental Piercing, was released in September 2004, after a long mastering session carried out by John and LJ Dusk themselves. The feedback are very good and fans show to enjoy Cadaveria's touch. The band start playing live often in the North Italy area and makes a mini tour around The Netherlands. The concerts are characterized by loud volume, red lights and stroboscopic effects.
In 2005 DyNAbyte sign with CD-Maximum for the Russian edition of Extreme Mental Piercing. In the same year the video clip I'm My Enemy is released.
In 2006 LJ Dusk is back to work on new compositions, while Cadaveria takes a break to dedicate herself to CADAVERIA third full length In Your Blood. Rehearsals starts again in late 2007 and in 2008 DyNAbyte are ready to approach the recordings of the new album.
Some months are spent to set DyNAbyte own studio, to finalize drum & keyboards programming and to record the bass and the guitars. In Spring 2009 Cadaveria finishes recording the voices and from that point on twelve brand new tracks are ready to be tuned.
After a never ending mixing & mastering period, DyNAbyte are now ready and proud to introduce you to 2KX, the new era of sound. It's time for DyNAbyte, again!
