Been a fan of you guys for about five years. Realized today that a bunch of the MCs are on that spyder baybie mixtape, heard about that pizza luce party they did, feeling pretty betrayed. Why do you make empowering music and also support completely vapid bullshit? As a fan you're a lot more significant to me than I am, individually, to you. I guess it was the idea you represent, No Kings and all that. You could hear that unifying ethos in pretty much all the music you made, asking people to make something of themselves and learn to enjoy it. The violation of it by indulging in self destruction... and not the destruction of the ego for the sake of creativity, but literal diminishing of significance, is pretty depressing. Your hypocrisy leaves a pretty bitter taste in my mouth...but I guess we all have to learn eventually.

No Kings is by far the best album of 2011. Hope you follow it up with a UK tour at some point. Birmingham or Liverpool would be especially nice although I think I could deal with travelling to London for a doomtree gig.
