When Saidah Baba Talibah struts onstage, the room any room suddenly turns silent and then, almost instantaneously, bursts into applause. Deep funk and hot buttered soul is what she brought to the GO show early one morning.
Along with her two back up singers, the GO audience was treated to amazing guitar player Donna Grantis, who added a lot of acoustic funk, to the already funky vibe.
Heard every Saturday morning on CBC Radio One from 10:30AM till noon, CBC Radio One's GO is the best live radio show on the planet. (really)!
Armed with my trusty Fujifilm Finepx Z20fd live performances will be recorded and show cased here.
