Well, first let me start by introducing myself. My name is Darcy Marie Druck. I am 33 years old from the west suburbs of Chicago. I was born in Naperville, Illinois and grew up my whole life in Aurora, Illinois. As you know by now and for the past 11 years of my life if you've been following me or know me well, I love Elvis Aaron Presley more than anything in this world. He is not only an amazing singer and movie star, but he was the most generous and passionate man. He truly cared about people and even helped the people in need. He was a man with the biggest heart & soul. I adore him more for that reason alone. In a way, he was like God. He was always there for someone who needed help. Elvis is my hero, my idol, my first & last love. I have been to Memphis, Tennessee for the past 11 years now and go sometimes as much as 3 times per year. I always go now for "Elvis Week" which is held every August to celebrate his life. This is my favorite time to go and I always feel so close to Elvis when I visit. Graceland is AMAZING!!
Other then my deep unconditional, true and genuine love for Elvis. I am fun, silly, cool, nice, bubbly, hyper and pretty freakin' awesome!! I love music like there is no tomorrow. And I absolutely love to sing. I love to dance and have taken up Jazz dance before and will start again in the spring of 2012. I am obsessed with watching romantic and comedy movies. I thrive on compliments and get flattered easily, but who doesn't?? I love to people watch to get ideas. I have a BIG collection of movies!! I love old classics and love ALL Christmas movies. I enjoy shopping too and love to decorate & design. One day I want to design my own home! I've taken piano lessons since second grade, but I only remember about 4 songs. I can cook, but I'm much better at estimating time on a microwave. I love art and am pretty creative. My new year's resolution every year is to not talk about anyone behind his/her back.The smell of cigarette smoke grosses me out. I have a really hard time listening when someone is boring. If you tell me I'm too skinny I will probably get mad. I love romance. For some reason a kiss on the forehead makes my heart melt. I have no political opinions, but I'm not an airhead. I smell like whatever product I put in my hair that day. I love perfume a lot. Chance by: Chanel, Body by: Burberry, Tommy Girl by: Tommy Hilfiger & L'Air Du Temps by: Nina Ricci are literally my top favorites.
I LOVE music, absolutely love to sing and listen to music, mostly all types of music, but my 2 top favorite singers in the world are MARIAH CAREY & ELVIS PRESLEY!! Nobody can top them for me, especially Mariah! I've been in music my whole life! I was in choir in school & church when I was younger and use to play piano too. I want to learn all over again and eventually start taking voice singing lessons and do something again with singing!I have a good voice!At least I think so anyway and have been told on many occasions that I am really good too!! =)
I love to write. I have been told I am an amazing writer so I guess I write better then I talk. Ha Ha! I can write for hours and I am quick to get things down in a short time. Basically I enjoy writing as you can see!!
I am very intelligent and consider myself a nice girl most of the time, but I am far from perfect. This is by far my favorite quote ever, because it is very true: "I'm selfish, impatient, & a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, & at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."

I would love to be loved unconditionally and love that way back one day. I hope to find a good man who can love me for me and not try to change me. It's hard to find a good kind of uncondtional love, but I always keep a open mind, because love DOES happen. When? I have no clue but I believe God will help me find it or bring it to me. So far, I have the love of my life with me daily...my baby doggie Louie. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and yes, he's just a dog to you, but to me..he is my child.

So Excited To Be Going To Elvis Week Again 2012!! I truly LOVE Elvis and being there to celebrate his life! I will be staying at the Marriott Hotel downtown Memphis, TN August 9-19th.
