About Me:

I am Steve Poole, 'The lonesome Crooner', mission - to keep alive the songs and style of Frank, Bing, Nat and Dean and inflict them on captive audiences anywhere. Currently with guitar but minus 53 piece orchestra - times are hard. At night I nip into a phone booth and re-emerge as Steve the Folky, same guitar, same tonsils, different diction. My other favourite music, sometimes I Soiree with Sue and Hector and let them do a lot of the singing, because they are rather good at it. Up for playing any sort of rock and pop music in a good pub session or party - songs from the times no one remembers but no one forgets. I also like doing instrumental music of the Newish Age variety and slapping a few photos together with them.
