The wind was howling at 50 mph tonight outside my window and it seemed like a good night for a vampire song. Sting wrote this great song after reading Anne Rice's book Interview with a Vampire which was made into a movie with Brad Pitt as the vampire Lestat. This is one of the reasons I love singing, I get to pretend to be a little bit Sting, a little bit Brad Pitt and a little bit Lestat the vampire and roam the streets of New Orleans without ever leaving my living room or even having to put pants on. I couldn't help but add a Strange little ending :)
