Does insider buying or sellling refer to retail shares bought on the open market or do things like stock grants count? I ask because many big wigs at companies get restricted stock. Why buy shares if their simply given to you?

I agree more with the speaker on the 2nd half. I think our economic models are based on more of everything forever. People, cars, iPhones, cupcakes, etc. Of course thats not possible on a finite world. I just got Steve Keen's book and will start reading it shortly.

This is the great contraction. All that energy (think credit) went into the housing bubble has to have an equal contraction to even everything out.

I think Romney, Obama, Gingrich are all basically the same. Do they differe at all on NDAA, SOPA, bailouts, war with Iran, etc? On a personal level I find Gingrich interesting at times when he talks about history but otherwise find him to be moral cripple.

The scene where people are running out of buildings and things are falling into the street highlights why you dont run out of a building. Lots of people get hurt or killed running outside into imagined safety only to be hit by pieces of the building falling off the front.
