This channel is owned by Craig, but is now managed by Mike L. (pillowpc2001) and Andrew Bennett (quadrupleplay). Here you can find solutions for all Chip's Challenge 1 (CC1) and Chip's Challenge Level Pack 2 (CCLP2) levels. If you are searching for specific solutions to a CC1 or CCLP2 level, use the playlists feature which organizes them all in order, as if the playlist were a complete guide to the levelset. Since incremental improvements or new methods to solve the same level are occassionally discovered, some videos are deleted and replaced with new ones, so they will not appear in order in the "Uploaded Videos" section.
Not all videos uploaded here are in the playlists; some slower solutions are not included, but some are necessary because the faster solution is both too hard for most viewers and significantly different from the slower. (Blobnet, for instance, doesn't require anything else, because all routes are based off this.) There are also a few other videos up, demonstrating some bugs in the game, and some solutions to custom levels; these are in "Other".
If you have any AVI solution (or for that matter, any time) quicker than any solution for that level here (search the uploads), notify the Wiki or the newsgroup, and they will look at it. Some AVIs may be uploaded but not put into the guide, because they might be more difficult routes that only gain parts of a second.
In progress are annotated hints and guides, which make using and understanding the solutions easier (and more fun): they specify things to be done, add interesting trivia, or explain how something worked. Currently, CC1 is complete (except for an unclear 390 route to Block Buster) and CCLP2 has reached level 10, "Who Needs a Flipper?". Annotations are color-coded:
White is a quote about a level, sometimes from a specific person, but usually a "special dispatch" from Melinda, readable in the Help file.
Black is a warning. Either don't do this, or you can't win without doing this. Listen to these!!
Gray is a spoiler. When you see one of these, turn the annotations off if you don't want a spoiler, because this will tell you the solution soon.
Red is a discussion of how mechanics work, such as the functions of tiles and other principles (see the mechanics category at the Wiki.)
Blue will provide sage advice, often very important to quick solving, but not usually required to complete the level.
Green has several uses: trivia about a level or CC in general relating to the current level, an explanation of what just happened, or a fourth-wall comment about the current situation.
